Sandy Gonzalez
Sandy Gonzalez is a complex litigation attorney representing clients in employment wage and hour class actions and individual matters arising under FEHA and the California labor code for wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment.
With extensive experience litigating for and against Fortune 500 companies, Sandy has an appreciation of how both sides approach a case and how to strategize a case from pre-litigation up to trial. Previously, she worked at McCune Law Group where she litigated consumer class actions against financial institutions and manufacturers of dangerous products, as well as individual employment matters. She has also represented large global property insurers in negligence disputes.
Sandy graduated from UC Hastings School of Law (now UC Law San Francisco). While in law school she externed for the Honorable Otis D. Wright II at the U.S. District Court of the Central District of California. She was also recognized for her pro bono work as a delegate to Haiti, where she conducted fact-finding to support the rule of law there.
Before law school Sandy worked as a scientific researcher, examining jurors’ perceptions of witness testimony. She earned her master’s degree in Experimental Psychology at California State University Northridge. She also graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with bachelor degrees in Biopsychology and Philosophy.
Sandy is admitted to practice in California, the Central and Northern Districts of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
She enjoys nature walks, travel, positive psychology and spending time with her family.
