Harley M. Phleger, Esq.

Harley Phleger is a fierce advocate for employees facing discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour issues. He has participated in numerous individual, class action, and PAGA cases, with experience in all aspects of litigation from filing to settlement. Mr. Phleger is deeply devoted to his clients. He believes that the law is the voice of the people, and that all deserve justice. His approach joins strong writing, sharp analysis, and a passionate work ethic with personal attention and professional experience. Mr. Phleger cares about your story. Mr. Phleger graduated from the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2023, where he was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the CALI Award for Civil Rights. He also served as the President and founding member of the Pepperdine chapter of the American Constitution Society, the nation’s leading progressive legal organization. During law school, Mr. Phleger clerked with the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office, representing clients charged with everything from misdemeanors to murder. He also worked with the Pepperdine Legal Aid Clinic, assisting homeless clients with a wide range of legal issues at the Skid Row Union Rescue Mission. These experiences reinforced his commitment to the underdog, and equipped him with the legal tools to protect their rights.

Personally, Mr. Phleger is a San Francisco native, and enjoys chess, guitar-playing, and wilderness canoe tripping. In his undergraduate career, he studied literature, poetry, and philosophy.
